In a number of spheres, the Danish Health and Medicines Authority can consult different committees and councils that are composed of either experts on the sphere in question or of interest representatives. Among others, it regards cases about authorisation of medicinal products and adverse reactions.
The Committees and councils are independent authorities. However, they do not have the authority to make decision in the spheres that they deal with. They solely advise the Danish Health and Medicines Authority.
