Mangel på cytostatiske lægemidler i EU
Flere lande i EU oplever problemer med forsyningen af cytostatika, bl.a. Carboplatin, Fluorouracil, Doxorubin, Mercaptopurin og Etoposide. Problemet udspringer bl.a. af, at en østrigsk producent har måttet indstille produktionen på grund af problemer med produkternes kvalitet.

Nye kontraindikationer og advarsler ved brugen af Protelos®
Protelos® (strontium ranelate) er godkendt til behandling af postmenopausal osteoporose. Aktuelt indeholder produktinformationen bl.a. advarsler om øget risiko for venøs tromboemboli og alvorlige allergiske hudreaktioner (DRESS-syndrom – Drug Rash with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms). Produktinformationen vil blive opdateret med kontraindikationer mod anvendelse af Protelos® til personer med aktuel eller tidligere venøs tromboemboli samt til personer, som er midlertidigt eller permanent immobile.
